PCs for People is a nonprofit organization with locations in Cleveland, Ohio, and other places throughout the US. Their mission is to provide people the opportunity to benefit from the life-changing impact of computers and mobile Internet. We are in discussion with them to expand our own program, perhaps in conjunction with Goodwill Foundation.
Similar to our Hardware for Homes program, PCs for People understands the necessity of computer hardware and Internet access. That’s why since opening in 1998, they’ve distributed over 100,000 computers to those in need. They’ve also connected over 96,000 families to the internet, and recycled 7 million pounds of technology! If you are in need of low cost technology, we definitely recommend the resources that PCs for People has available. You can visit their website here.
