Oak Hill Collaborative is proud to announce its first Digital Neighborhood Center in rural Mahoning County.
Springfield Township is the latest partner with OHC and will begin offering classes July 10 at Springfield Townships’ Fire Station 21.
While most classes offered by OHC are commonly one hour long, classes in Springfield will be hosted every Wednesday from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. for a two-hour duration.
This marks the sixth location that OHC offers classes. At each location, and now including Springfield, residents may attend free classes and become eligible for a refurbished laptop at no charge after completing five classes through our Hardware for Homes Program.
At Springfield, individuals may also purchase a refurbished laptop if they are unable to complete our Hardware for Homes Program for $100.
For its first class, OHC and Springfield Township will start with Laptop Basics. Students will learn a comprehensive overview on how to use, navigate and access different aspects of a laptop. Students will be provided a laptop to use during each class.
For more information on the upcoming classes, a monthly calendar is available at oakhillcollaborative.org.
