OHC is partnering with the Youngstown Area Goodwill Industries to provide in-person Google AI certificate programs.
The Coursera programs allow users to learn hands-on how Google AI works through two separate courses.
Starting in January, OHC will hold in-person classes for a program on Google Prompting Essentials, as well as a program on Google AI Essentials.
The first program, Google Prompting Essentials, will meet every Monday at 5 p.m. starting January 5th. Class will last roughly an hour.
This is a shorter program focused on understanding modes of prompting AI to receive ideal outcomes, implementing AI in work environments, prompt framework, and formating, alongside prompt designing activities.
The second program, Google AI Essentials, will be every Friday at 3 p.m. starting January 9th for two hours.
This program, estimated to take 6-8 hours to complete, focuses on how Google AI works and can be implemented in work and personal projects. From establishing how AI can generate content to structuring marketing projects, this program covers the essentials of utilizing Google AI to its fullest.
Residents who satisfactorily complete the Coursera classes receive a corresponding certifcate.
Pre-registration for the in-person program is required by January 2nd.
