A recap of Part 1 of Introductory Web Development from Digital Inclusion Week. This class will be more organized and better structured in order to provide a concise introduction as to what Web development is, what it involves, and what the main objective is when building a website from scratch with code.
Part 2 will move a bit faster in order to present attendees with a solid foundation that they can effectively springboard off of. Materials will be provided for students to take home and investigate further.
Since this class will move along at a faster rate than the first Introductory class, it is strongly urged that those planning to attend are adept to navigating between multiple programs on the computer at the same time in order to keep up with the pace of the class. If there is anyone that wishes to attend, but feels that they need to be more in control of the computer, they are encouraged to attend Introductory Computer Education - Part 2 where they will become familiar with more basic aspects of computer use.
